In 1978, Pal Turner heard an advertisement for a cleaning business and filed it away as something that he wanted to be involved with in the future. Born and raised in Vermont, and working in a bank, thoughts of going into business were put on hold when it seemed that financially it was neither the right time, or place to start up a new business.
Fast forward to 2004. Plans to move to Southwest Florida had formed. Children raised and approaching 30 years of banking experience, thoughts of opening a cleaning business surfaced again. After a good deal of consideration, the decision was made to pursue a cleaning franchise to ensure that a good system and a ready resource were in place to service clients. A search of the market lead to the selection of Maid to Perfection®, then located in Hagerstown, MD, as the company that met the goals and plans for the future. Maid to Perfection® is one of the few companies that offered support for both commercial and residential cleaning services. Serving both segments of the cleaning business is particularly beneficial as it dramatically expands the client base while also providing the opportunity to apply the best of the best cleaning methods in a variety of settings. The company also provides access to the latest developments in the cleaning industry, as well as providing a good set of standards and training for operations.
In 2005 Maid to Perfection® of Lee County opened an office in Fort Myers at Corporate Court. In 2007, the company moved to its current location on Del Prado Boulevard in Cape Coral. The company currently employs eight people, serve approximately 100 customers and is a member of the Cape Coral Chamber of Commerce.
Pal is married to Margaret, his high school sweetheart, and lives in Southwest Cape. They have two daughters, who are each married and also live in the Cape. Proud grandparents of four boys, with another grandchild on the way, Pal and Margaret enjoy life in Southwest Florida and consider it a privilege to serve residential and business clients.
